Kalderos’ 2023 annual report unveils a collaborative game plan for drug discount stakeholders
The report spotlights the mounting tensions among key drug discount players, providing context on each stakeholder's systemic challenges and offering an innovative and equitable game plan for collaboration. It outlines how equal considerations of all sides can put patients at the center of a system that delivers for them.

Since the 2023 Kalderos Annual Report is a campaign, it was an opportunity for our team to create something that riffed off of the company’s core brand identity. Utilizing the Kalderos palette, we created fresh color combinations unique to 2023’s report.
In our benchmarking phase we explored Mission Critical as a detective's investigation, a blueprint for success, and the arcade world which ended up being the final direction. The arcade world gave us the ability to visually represent the key stakeholders, the broken drug discount system, and an ideal world.
With an abundance of statistics and data to visualize, gaming visuals such as scoreboards and tokens not only breathed life into the numbers presented throughout the report, but also lended well to our social media promotional content.
A collection of layering computer window elements were used in two ways: In the report itself, they expressed the obstacles found within the drug discount system. We also used these elements to promote the webinar that followed the launch of the Annual Report.
You'll notice throughout the campaign, we incorporated both 2D and 3D illustrations and data visualizations to accompany the complex content of the report.
The pixel was an important element used throughout all the pieces of this campaign, from the layout to the illustrations, and even the typeface we chose. Juxtaposing the pixel were bubble containers which held numbers, quotes, captions, and eyebrow text.
A number of swag and print pieces accompanied our first-ever printed Annual Report. This package included an informational postcard inviting the recipient to the webinar, a QR code to access the digital version of our Annual Report, custom socks, and the printed Annual Report. All were delivered in these awesome bubble mailers, also designed in-house.
Kalderos was announced as the winner of a 2023 Public Relations & Marketing Excellence Award for External Campaign of the Year for our 2023 annual report. The award, presented by Business Intelligence Group, recognizes organizations that accelerate their brand’s growth through exposing and promoting great business stories.
